Carmen Parcelli
Carmen Parcelli is an attorney specializing in union-side labor law who was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, where she still resides. For over two decades, she worked for a private law firm handling litigation, arbitrations, and contract negotiations, ultimately rising to the level of partner. Presently, she works in-house for a large labor organization. After many years as an avid tai chi practitioner, in 2014, Carmen discovered aerial arts. Although she has dabbled in many different apparatuses and is an admirer of many ground-based circus arts, her practice is focused almost entirely on silks. She views her service on the NECCA Board as a way to give back to an organization that has been instrumental to her development as an aerialist, in large part because so many of her instructors have been NECCA-trained.
