Carole Kosover

Carole is recently retired after a long career as a computer programmer/analyst, followed by a shorter career in government. She is based in New York and is an avid skier in Vermont which is where discovered NECCA in 2016 when she saw an ad for the Circus Spectacular in the local newspaper. She was instantly mesmerized by the quality of the performance and was inspired to reach out to see what she could do to help after learning that the founders of this then small organization were dedicated to giving back to the community through circus arts. While she has yet to participate in a class herself, she loves being able to help by providing funding for things the students may use to further their circus skills such as the tramp wall and the tumbling track. She has also provided funding for infrastructure such as rigging, lighting and a temporary circus tent for summer youth camp. In addition, she has sponsored a student who later went on to graduate from the ProTrack program and is one of many who are on their way to lucrative careers in circus.

In her spare time Carole enjoys volunteering for Adult Education programs in New York and for the AARP Tax-Aide Program. She also loves spending time outdoors at the beach and sliding down water slides at various amusement parks.

Carole is excited to join the board of directors of NECCA and looks forward to working to continue NECCA’s growth from a small local school to the internationally recognized organization it deserves to be while never losing sight of giving back to the community that it serves.
