The Magic of Research and Discovery

With Amy Haderer

Does the phrase “Just improv a bit!” strike terror in you? Do you feel like you’re in the “monkey see, monkey do” rut of rope classes? Do you wish you could discover new pathways but have no earthly clue how to start?

This workshop will give you real, concrete exercises to help you get out of your mimicry funk as you work on your own or with others.

This workshop is the perfect segue to Open Rope Jam at Rope Meeting!

We’ll talk about:

  • Safety during creative play
  • Prompts to get your creative juices flowing
  • Working solo or with a group / partner
  • Learning how to “see”
  • Breaking down the “experiment”
  • Documenting your process and celebrating your discoveries!
