JOB OPENING: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

NECCA is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Executive Director! The Executive Director is responsible for the consistent achievement of the vision, mission, financial objectives, fund development and strategic plan of NECCA. The Executive Director has ultimate decision-making authority over all aspects of the administration, business operations and programs of the organization. Key duties include fundraising, marketing and community outreach. The position reports to the NECCA Board of Directors with direct reporting to the President of the Board of Directors. The position is full-time. Hours include days, evenings and weekends, as driven by event planning and program execution.

NECCA’s Board of Directors is recruiting! We seek Board members who passionately support NECCA’s mission and want to volunteer their time to ensure that NECCA has what it needs to continue to fulfill that mission. Our Board of Directors is made up of seven people drawn from the wider community, each of whom brings a particular expertise as well as a general willingness to give their time, talent and treasure–no matter how modest–to support NECCA’s future. Board members are asked to commit to a 3 year term, attend monthly Board meetings, and serve on at least 1 committee. Fall Session II is open for limited enrollment. Don’t forget to schedule yourself some time to play, get creative, and move your body again as you plan your fall and bring the fitness and fun of circus back into your routine! Space is very limited, so reserve your spot today! Classes for all abilities and all ages available. Fall II: Oct. 26 – Dec. 20* (7 weeks)

We are so excited to welcome new staff members to the team!

Julia Langenberg (https://necenterforcircusarts.org/about/julia-langenberg/) is our new Marketing Director and coach. She brings her expertise to NECCA after performing and coaching around the world, successfully running a circus company, and directing countless aerial productions.

We have a new full-time Facilities Manager, Andy Schmitz (https://necenterforcircusarts.org/about/andy-schmitz/) , with 25+ years of experience rigging for circus, most recently La Reve and Cirque du Soleil. Andy is already a valuable resource for COVID and general facility operations.
